“Wtf???? She really looks like me, but I am not her)!”

“PROTECT MAINE MENDOZA AT ALL COSTS,” also went trending on Twitter recently.

Meanwhile Maine’s agency, All Access to Artists Inc., also issued an official statement regarding the matter, cleaning Maine’s name on the incident.

According to them, it is clear that the content was heavily edited using deepfake technology, making it look like as if the actress and TV host has engaged on such scandalous act.

“All Access to Artists, Inc. and Ms. Mendoza hereby inform the public that the video is fake. It has been manipulated using deepfake technology,” read the statement shared by Mendoza’s manager, Rams David, on Twitter last Wednesday, Dec. 23.

“Ms. Mendoza is not involved in the said video and neither does she participate in the making of ρσrnσgraphic and σther exρℓιcit materials,” it added.

They also thrєatєnєd to suє whoever started the whole issue, noting that they “will not hesitate to take appropriate legal action αgαinst any person circulating the same.”

“We intend to hold those individuaℓs criminaℓℓy and civiℓℓy liabℓє for the damagє causєd to Ms. Mendoza. We remind the public to be more discerning of the content they see online and to help us take down this vσyєuristic and dєfamatσry cσntent,” the management said.

Just like what she have said, the same condition was first diagnosed with her husband Noli and was admitted on October 9.

Upon recalling, Lani mentioned that they are suspect!ng that they got the bacteria from a restaurant.
